Tim Russert - WSB Fondly Remembers a Friend

ALEXANDRIA, VA - June 13, 2008 -- We mourn the passing of our friend and WSB family member, Tim Russert. A man of extraordinary and far-reaching talents, Russert rose from humble beginnings in Buffalo, New York to become one of the most well-known figures in media. Russert joined NBC News in 1984 and took over as host of Meet the Press in 1991. He won an Emmy award for his coverage of President Reagan’s funeral in 2005. In 2008 TIME magazine named him one of the most influential people in the world.

Tim Russert was certainly influential to the WSB family. We will long remember his wit, charm and kindness, as well as his sartorial splendor.
