Lately, we have been reading about the “future of” everything – from work to education, from information to healthcare and everything in between. How is one to know what to pay attention to, which information is trustworthy, and more importantly, what to do with it?

What should we be studying and learning if more than 65% of the jobs that will be available in 10 – 15 years don’t exist today? How should we be thinking about our companies’ strategies if we aren’t sure how quickly technology – or which technologies – will enable growth or impede it?

This dynamic talk, given from the perspective of living on the frontier of the future of work shows executives, politicians, educators, and students the tools they need to prepare and thrive in the future that is already now.

Learn what Blockchain is, in language that normal human beings can understand. Learn the technology and why it will matter across a broad swath of industries, including Finance, Healthcare, and Education.

Explore how harnessing the potential of the unknown will create success, fulfillment and freedom in the uncertainty of our world and economy through the lens of a pioneer who lived it first-hand, and is now creating solutions for the future of work. Learn the three tools you will need to empower your own and others’ success as the fourth industrial revolution continues to unfold.

Why there need to be more: The blockchain industry is currently comprised of 97% men, which brings with it the traditional challenges of male and female equality in the world. However, when this imbalance is paired with the potential of blockchain to be the mechanism of wealth distribution of the future, this raises questions of disparity of access to income and power at levels that are exponential. Additionally, the way that artificial intelligence and machine intelligence learn is through the (biased) perspectives that the rules of its coders give it. How might we get more women involved in the coding and building of these technologies to ensure a world with equal opportunity for all, as the future unfolds.

What is more important than IQ and emotional intelligence combined? Based on the research in Before Happiness, Shawn Achor takes us to the beginning of human potential to explain why some people are able to make great changes while others remain the same. Before you can make a change at work or home, your brain first constructs a picture of reality; this mental picture already determines your likelihood of success and your ability to harness your brain’s IQ, emotional and social intelligence. In this exciting talk, Shawn takes the audience to the cutting edge of positive psychology and neuroscience to clearly demonstrate how one can become a “positive genius”: one who can continually architect successful, positive realities based upon true facts then transfer those realities to others. Using his signature humor, new case studies and interactive experiments that engage the audience, Shawn makes this research come alive. Shawn illuminates new research he did in collaboration with Yale published in the top psychology journal this year showing step by step how a leader can change their mindset about stress to increase productivity by 30% and lower health problems and fatigue by 23%. Audiences leave with five clear, practical takeaways, which can immediately start to transform their life, raising both happiness and success rates. In this program, participants will learn how to navigate multiple realities at work, cancel internal and external noise, add vantage points to planning, use success accelerants to speed goal completion and use meaning markers to spread positive genius throughout a team, family and an entire organization.

Described by The Wall Street Journal as “a force of nature, the Energizer Bunny, the Tasmanian Devil, and Luke Skywalker,” José Andrés is not your typical chef. The owner of an international company with 31 locations, 1,200 employees, and $150 million in annual revenue—and a sought-after TV icon, political activist, and Harvard professor—Andrés’ secret to success is being so passionate that he has no problem rolling up his sleeves and doing the heavy lifting himself. In a presentation full of edge-of-your-seat anecdotes, Andrés proves that a culture of innovation and creativity not only leads to personal and organizational success, but also a better tomorrow for all.

A creative visionary whose passion fueled the growth of some of the country’s most successful and trendsetting restaurants, José Andrés’ innovation and drive has propelled his business to phenomenal success in the U.S. and around the globe. In this candid presentation, Andrés shares with audiences his remarkable American success story, describing what it takes to make your vision a reality and foster a culture of creativity and innovation. Audiences will learn:

-        How to move outside your comfort zones to achieve your goals

-        The story behind Andrés’ remarkable rise from his immigrant roots to the peak of his profession

-        How to revolutionize your business model by treating customers as partners rather than guests

The Center for Customer Driven Quality at Purdue University reports that 90% of American consumers form their perception of companies based primarily on the service experience. Customers buy more frequently, make more transactions and are willing to pay more per transaction when they deal with companies who provide them with a superior service experience. On the other hand, we all know what happens when a business disappoints a customer!
