Giuliana Rancic

E! Entertainment Reporter, New York Times Best-Selling Author, Breast Cancer Survivor, Fashion Designer, and Restaurateur

New York Times best-selling author Giuliana Rancic is an entertainment journalist, author, fashion and beauty expert, and television personality with over 3.5 million devoted followers on Twitter and 10 million followers across her social media platforms. As the longtime host of E! news and Fashion Police, she has been on the red carpet for every mega-event in the entertainment industry (including the Oscars, Grammy Awards, and Golden Globes), interviewing the stars and getting the breaking scoop from Hollywood and all things pop culture.

As a fashion designer, Giuliana launched her clothing line, G by Giuliana, on the Home Shopping Network – one of the most successful clothing line debuts in HSN’s history. She is also a restaurateur as one of the the "R"s in the popular restaurant group RPM Italian and RPM Steak.

In 2012, Rancic released her second book, I Do, Now What?, published by Random House. Giuliana co-authored the book with her husband, fellow entrepreneur and TV personality Bill Rancic. Giuliana recently released her highly anticipated memoir, Going Off Script, also with Random House. The book debuted on the New York Times Best-Sellers List.

In 2011, Giuliana was diagnosed with breast cancer and underwent a double mastectomy that same year. Following her treatment, she created Fab-U-Wish, a program to grant fashion, beauty, and celebrity-themed wishes to women battling breast cancer. This program is just one aspect of her ongoing mission to help those going through hardships to find happiness and a positive outlook on life. Others include The Pink Agenda, Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Operation Smile, Dress For Success, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls in Chicago, and the Children’s Miracle Networks.

In 2002, Giuliana joined E! News as a correspondent and in 2005 became solo anchor and managing editor for the show, taking it from the lowest rated show on the network to the highest… incredibly within one year. She was the anchor of E! News for almost a decade before stepping down to be with her family, but she remains on at E! to host their flagship shows and events.

Rancic is a force both on-camera and off, but her remarkable success didn’t come easily. Having been born in a modest neighborhood in Naples, Italy, she moved to the United States when she was a little girl. Her love affair with television journalism began before she could even speak English when she learned by language by watching TV. Her life today is thus a product of the American dream and an inspiration to all people of all ages and backgrounds.

Giuliana received a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in journalism from American University. While in attendance, she worked for a Capitol Hill news bureau covering a number of stories related to the Pentagon, Supreme Court, White House, and State Department.

Giuliana lives in Chicago with her husband, Bill and their five-year-old son, Duke.
