As a 14-year veteran quarterback, Manning played in two Pro Bowls and was named NFC Offensive Player of the Year in 1978 with the New Orleans Saints. Manning co-authored Manning: A Father, His Sons and a Football Legacy, with his son Peyton. His sons Peyton and Eli play for the NFL's Denver Broncos and New York Giants, respectively, and have each won the Super Bowl.
