Dr. Albright’s presentations are renowned for their powerful insights, fascinating stories and skillful analysis. Throughout her varied career, Albright has never been afraid to “tell it like it is.” In her remarks, which are sprinkled with lessons, anecdotes and humor, she is able to cover a wide range of topics tailored to the specific interests of her audience. She is equally at home discussing the linkage between the American economy and international security as she is analyzing the options faced by President Obama as he confronts the war in Afghanistan, the turmoil and unrest in North Africa and the Middle East, Iran’s nuclear ambitions and the rising influence of China. She also discusses her personal experiences while in government, the broader issues facing decision makers today, her current activities as a business executive, professor and leader of international initiatives related to the future of NATO and economic development in the Middle East. In addition to her service as Secretary of State, Albright served as America’s ambassador to the United Nations and was a member of the Cabinet and National Security Council and chaired NATO’s Strategic Concept Group which was tasked with laying the groundwork for the development of a new Strategic Concept for the Alliance for the next 10 years. Her latest book is Fascism (April, 2018), a timely and personal look at the history and resurgence of fascism today in which Albright paints a picture of how and why fascism flourishes, and offers clear solutions to the challenges we face. On May 29, 2012, President Obama awarded Dr. Albright the U.S. Medal of Freedom—the nation's highest civilian honor.
